What to Expect During a Wellness Session


IN-PERSON WELLNESS SESSION

If you would like an in-person wellness session with Teague in Ketchikan, he can come to your house. He will bring a massage table with clean sheets, a light blanket, a pillow, and a bolster for your legs. You’ll lie on your back (or your stomach if needed), fully clothed, on the massage table, and Teague will place a bolster under your knees for comfort and support. Generally, Teague will sit in a chair behind your head and place his palms on your shoulders to connect with you physically and energetically.

Before starting sessions with Teague, you will need to fill out a questionnaire asking about areas of your life and a waiver that grants Teague consent for this type of work and, setting aside any gross negligence on Teague’s part, absolves him of any liability regarding your physical safety and any unintended results physically, emotionally, and mentally from this spiritually-led work. Based on your questionnaire or what you may want to work on during a given session, Teague will talk with you and ask questions as the two of you explore new ways to address the issues you’d like to focus on. The overall idea is to address tension in your life/body/mind and work on letting go into a more healthy state of relaxed being.

During the session, Teague will play relaxing music over a bluetooth speaker or you may play music you would prefer. Or no music can be requested. Generally, these sessions are one-hour long. Longer can be requested. Because Teague is traveling to your house, please schedule on an hour-and-a-half in total so that Teague can set up the massage table before the session and take it down after the session. Please make sure that you have a clean and large enough space for Teague to set up his massage table and to be able to walk around it on all sides. If there are other people living with you, please either have a space where you can have some privacy during this session or schedule the session while others are away. If you are unable to have Teague at your house, please contact him to perhaps arrange a wellness session at his house, or during a walk outside, or via online.

These sessions can be pre-booked and prepaid for on specific dates and times through Teague’s online booking platform on the Wellness Sessions page. If there is a time that is not available that you would prefer, please contact Teague.


ONLINE WELLNESS SESSION

Online wellness sessions will be conducted through a web-camera platform, such as FaceTime, Google, Skype, etc. so that you and Teague can see and hear one another. Please make sure that you have a safe, clean, uncluttered, quiet space in which to sit and use your computer, iPad, tablet, or phone to connect with Teague during your session. Though the online sessions will be more focused on conversation, energy work can still be conducted via a distance as well. Like the in-person sessions, you’ll fill out a questionnaire before your first session and also need to sign the consent and liability waiver. Online sessions are open to people who live anywhere. The booking times offered on Teague’s calendar are all designated in Alaska Time, which is four hours earlier than Eastern Standard Time.
