What a Wellness Session Is

Healing isn't always about fixing things, but is often about how we can shift our perception, our approach to, or our relationship with the reality of our circumstances. It is when we can get beyond the "good" and "bad" part of our judgment that we can begin to see the nature of our being.

Life Coaching focuses on leveling out the balance between the holistic mix of areas in your life, i.e. relationships, career, finances, interests, health, spirituality, etc. by identifying and working on a stuck area or areas that are not as developed or as satisfactory as you’d like them to be.

Spiritual Counseling centers on how to draw on your religion and/or spiritual background and practice or to explore new ones to embrace and work through the difficult and challenging phases of your life to find more presence, peace, joy, and equanimity in each moment of your daily life.

Energy Work at the basic level is fostering the connection between you and Teague. This is the energetic exchange of care, thoughtfulness, presence, discovery, and release whether that is a shift in your body, mind, or spirit. In addition, energy work is also connecting to the universal nature that surrounds all of us and channeling that into you to help facilitate relaxation, healing, release, and connection within yourself.

Meditation, used among many secular and religious populations alike, can be a useful tool to practice mindfulness and being present no matter what is presented to you in your life. Meditation is a simple but challenging way to learn how to sit with and be there for yourself without judgment.

Though the modalities of life coaching, spiritual counseling, guided meditation, and energy work are NOT psychotherapy that diagnoses and seeks to cure mental illnesses through therapy and/or prescribing medication, the work in these above modalities can be very personal, deep, profound, even unnerving at times, but also liberating and healing!
